Facebook is looking to cement their place in the online video space and have started testing a new feature that may help in their push against YouTube.

The new “Watch Later” button will allow users to flag a video to watch at a later time. The new button was spotted as a small overlay in the upper right corner. It appears to operate similarly to “Facebook Save”, the article-saving feature that launched one year ago.

This, of course, is another reason for marketers to push video content on Facebook and for advertisers to keep Facebook video top-of-mind.

This new feature will benefit Facebook by keeping its users on the site longer.
